Williams Trading Co. Now Distributing ’50 Shades’ Trilogy

PENNSAUKEN, N.J. — Williams Trading Co. has announced that it is now distributing the “50 Shades of Grey” trilogy.

“These have been one of the most talked about and most requested items in recent history," Williams Trading Marketing Coordinator Kelly Szwed said. "This has been dubbed ‘Mommy Porn’ because of its popularity with the 30-something's and has the entire industry buzzing. Williams Trading is committed to meeting the needs of its customers and are pleased to be able to bring these books to our customers.”

"Fifty Shades of Grey," the first book in a trilogy that currently sits atop of The NY Times Best Sellers List (Print and E-book editions combined), is penned by E.L. James.

The book's phenomenal success is comparable to that of Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code" and Stieg Larsson’s “Millennium” trilogy. A film adaptation is already in the works at Focus Features, the arthouse/indie arm of Universal Pictures.

"Fifty Shades of Grey" follows the kink-fueled love affair that develops between 27-year-old billionaire Christian Grey and his submissive conquest, a 22-year-old college virgin named Anastasia Steele.

The ups-and-downs of the couple's relationship are further explored in the sequels "Fifty Shades Darker" and "Fifty Shades Freed." The novels are the first works from British author James, a former TV executive and mother of two.
